T20 Finals, Dhoni's captaincy, Shoaib Malik's statement

Hi again,
India Versus Pakistan, these two teams have always been giving great cricket to it's fans around the world and this only adds more dimension, interest and passion when it was T20 finals. Amazing! India scored only 157 but it was a thriller with fortune of glory swing from one team to another. Imran Nazir, played great cricket shots until Robin Uttappa sent a great throw to see him off, then it was MISBAH who played great cricket until he chose the last shot as his choice. INDIA WON. Celebration was wonderful.
Dhoni was seen giving his T-Shirt to a small boy and walking around bare body until he could find a sleevelss. Even in the last over, Dhoni was pretty cool in his body language and mind. His risks and selections would have be very debatable had India lost; Selecting Irfan Pathan's brother ahead of Karthick and using Joginder Sharma to bowl the last over when he was the weakest of bowlers on all the games he played. He never looked to have the strength in mind or body to bowl those overs yet he clicked by luck or hook. So Dhoni became an impressive, thoughtful and aggressive captain since he won but those risk was too much and would have been foolish had we lost. So that's the difference in thoughtful aggression and chancing your arms yet we won. Irfan won the man of the match, yet I feel it should have been Gambhir or shared. Emotions were overflowing from the cricketers. Oh, why did MISBAH choose that shot? well this is what tension or pressure can do. He has scored all his runs and sixes only playing straight or orthodox shots, maybe he tried Robin Uttappa's shot but Joginder Sharma does not have the pace for that shot.
Ravi Shastri down with the players and presentation party and time for Shoaib Malik to come and speak; he started with "first of all I would like to thank the people back home and all the muslim community in the world for supporting us, we played well as you all know"....that was a sad comment. Cricket is loved all over the world irrespective of what religion they are, even I love to watch Pakistani cricketers play but this statement even put me off . That statement would have broken many genuine cricket lovers heart. Cricket Captains and Cricketers should be given training on how to speak in public to save cricket and it's followers. Cricket is a religion in India everyone knows but we don't tag it with any one state or religion. Maybe he was indirectly apologizing to the fans back home scared of the backlash like the earlier occasions or his house being ransacked etc.
